Like Grandma’s Cabin
Conveniently located within walking distance to many of the Gov Camp attractions, this mid-century A-frame has the vintage charm of grandma’s cozy cabin.

Great Location and Cabin!
We had an excellent visit to Government Camp and this was such a fabulous spot for walking into town. The cabin was perfect for our family–very clean and quite cute. The only issue that came up was the lack of functioning internet for the use of the TV's. While It was clearly stated on the listing that no internet would be provided our check information did give WIFI access info. Managers may want to update the check-in information if indeed there is no internet. Overall it was a wonderful trip!

Kiddos and Adults give this Chalet an A+
Perfect for 2 couples and a few kiddos. We hit the Ratskaller and Cosmic Tubing with little to no effort. The location is tucked away but also right next to everything. Kitchen was stocked wayyy beyond my expectations, and it was cozy as could be at -3 degrees outside. Truly took us back to our Scandinavian roots, and we loved all of the old school -but very practical- touches. See you next year!

Old house
In general, house lack the cleanliness. Unlike other houses, nobody came to pick up garbage for 12 days… no folders to explain the house rules and details.

Nice place but a significant mice problem
It is a nice cabin to stay at. The listing does not say that is has internet and that is correct. The biggest problem is that there is a significant amount of mice. If you leave any food out, it will get nibbled. I left out a plastic bag of peanuts and the mice tore through the bag, I then found the peanuts under the mattress in one of the beds. I texted and called Vacasa (the property manager) but never got a call back from a manager regarding the mice problem. It would definitely be a really nice place if they solved the mice problem.

The place is cozy and beautiful, but...
We had a great time staying in this cabin. However we heard noises each night throughout the night and on our last night woke up to a mouse crawling on my husband. We also could not get the television working correctly and never could get a reply from anyone regarding questions we had. We really did love our stay, the place is beautiful and cozy, and I'm happy we didnt realize there were mice until our last night, because i would not have slept comfortably after that. Once they eliminate the mice I would recommend to anyone that wants a comfortable cozy place right by skibowl and doesn't mind that you will not be getting a response from the owner. If you are low maintenance it will be a great stay!

Like our 2nd home
We had a lovely long weekend at Alpine Hideaway with our 2-yr old little one. Good location, close to snow park and restaurants, good amenities in the property for making food, good space for either small family or large party. Everything went so well and our little one called it our home :)

Good location close to everything
This is a nice place to have all to yourself with plenty of room for friends or family. Traffic can be heard from the outside deck but if that's not an issue, you're good to go here. It could use some window treatments here and there but overall I'm very pleased with this vintage and charming place.

Awesome cabin right in the heart of Government Camp!
I absolutely adored this A-frame cabin right in Government Camp. The vintage ski decor, books and kitchen were great. I only used one bedroom, but there was plenty of room for an entire family, with games, a really warm gas fireplace and felt secluded nestled in the woods with everything within walking distance and only a short drive to ski Timberline. The kitchen was the most well stocked one I've ever used, which was truly appreciated. The place was clean and quiet. I will definitely stay here again!

Very cute A frame!!
We had a race at Ski Bowl and this homes location was perfect! The layout was excellent and larger than thought! We all enjoyed our stay. Downside,0 which I’m sure was resolved, was the internet. It was weak and then eventually non- existent. A small portion was refunded for this, and that was appreciated bc my husband had to go into town to do a little work. Overall a very nice place!

Low key rental in great location for snow sports
Was happy with almost everything about this place. It was clean. The location was super convenient to government camp proper and Mt. Hood. Check in / Check out was a breeze. Only issue was the DSL / Wi-fi / TV connection was down. The rental company offered to relocate us to another rental, but it was late and we didn't feel like going through the process. They did give us a credit for the issue. It wasn't a huge deal, but is the only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars.

Great place to stay and go to the mountains!
The place was clean, cute, and a perfect set up for 2 couples! However, they say wifi is provided but the router is broken and not in working order. Just a heads up.
