"The house has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which makes for quick showers for everyone in the morning. The kitchen is nicely equipped and everything including the wash machine worked well. The town has a nice market just three doors down and is minutes from Donegal and other sites like Sliebh League cliffs. The rooms were comfy and quiet and our hosts were attentive and gracious. "Bill and I spent another incredible two weeks at Hilltown. The family connection is so important to us! We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. We are already looking forward to planning another visit back to Ireland!"

"Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal."

The property is well located for visits to the usual attractions like the Causeway and Bushmills. It is also handy to the walking trails of the Glens of Antrim and especially The Dark Hedges! "This house was very comfortable and attractively decorated, with two living rooms and a large kitchen. We enjoyed the access to Donegal town - no more than a few minutes! While the setting was rural, we did overlook a parking lot for a business next door. There were farm animals in the yard next door who said hello as we came and went. A nice place to stay to see the area!"

"Perfect and quiet location. The house is pretty new, beatiful view. We just had some problems with the wifi connection but nothing else was wrong. Very useful the two bathrooms. Large tv. We'd like to be back again."

"The house and surroundings are lovely. House was very clean. If wifi is needed for work or other need, this is not the right place for you. Property advertises it, but signal is little to none. Everything else is great. The house is set near Donegal town and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. "

"We had a lovely week away at this property. The property is situated close to town and the beach, with a restaurant and off licence a few mins drive. The house was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Furnished and decorated to a high standard. Very well equipped with everything we could have needed. Thw treats that welcomed us were a delicious surprise and greatly appreciated. "Treat yourself to this amazing, cozy and friendly little property. The owners are very kind and helpful and happy to share information about their farm. The animals are so well cared for and you can interact with them if you choose. We got up close tor the cows, lambs, horse and llamas— along with a few friendly barn cats. The views are breathtaking and serene. The cottage is cute and has everything you need to be comfortable. It was private, peaceful and provided a great little retreat. We will...

"Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two...
