"A beautiful stay for myself and my 1 year old. The staff were incredible, so friendly, so helpful and even remembered my son’s name the next morning on check out which was really lovely! Housekeeping were all smiles and their work in the rooms is fantastic! What would be amazing is if they had a child play park outdoors because the scenery is stunning! "Decor in the room was very drab. Outdated and not overly maintained. The toilet, when flushed, fired water all over you unless you jumped out of the way. Wash basin was the same. Bed side was stained. Worst thing was they wanted to charge us £10 EACH, to use the mini, so called swimming pool ( about 4 metres by 3) Food was exceptional and staff were superb"

"The staff, especially Robert were really friendly, hospitality and nothing was too much for them to do every request was replied with “no bother”. We arrived earlier than the check in time and as the room was ready they checked us in. They also allowed us an extra 30 minutes late check out. The breakfast was very delicious, the smoothie was made with banana but the chefs were happy to make one for me with bananas. Overall it’s was a good stay. The staff’s pleasantness was the best. "

"Hotel is old fashioned but in a good way. Room was immaculate. Gym and pool downstairs was great. Plenty of parking spaces. Room was spacious with a comfy bed and very clean. Would stay here again."

"Staff here are amazing. Katie from reception was extremely helpful allowing us to check in at 11.00am instead of 3pm. Aimie from reception was very pleasant also. Brandon the manager in restaurant was very nice and helpful. Dinner was lovely and breakfast was exceptional. Rooms are very nice but pillows are hard. Short walk to town"

"Bed was comfortable but the whole property needs some updating. The breakfast was good, staff very friendly and accommodating, it just feels like the property on the whole is past its peak and it needs an overall renovation to bring it up to todays standards and aesthetic. "

"Very good. The only down side to my stay was there could be a bit more variety in the breakfast like adding some pudding and mushrooms , otherwise a lovely friendly hotel. "

"Great home, perfect location, everything we needed and above all the best host imaginable! Josie went out of her way to welcome us and prepare for us. We had arrived just days after storm Eowyn when much of the country was without power. She secured back up lodging for us just in case the power didn't return. We will definitely stay again if back in the area and highly recommend this lodging!"
