"It was such a lovely little place to find in Truro and was greeted by a very kind lady who walked me to my room, asked me how my journey was and explained everything I needed. It was as simple as needing to remember to take a set of keys with me when I left. The bedroom was immaculate with fresh linen, two bedside tables with lamps, chairs with a little table and a decent tv! The bed was so comfortable to sleep on and I slept better than I thought! There was little chocolates and fresh towels...

"I stayed here for 2 nights with my family and booked last minute. Location was great and it was a clean and comfortable stay. If you have any mobility issues however, I wouldn't recommend as we stayed at the top which had narrow steep stairs. Other odd quirks were there was not one bowl in the room or kitchen. Also we booked for 3 people and arrived to a room with a fold out and had to find the bedding. We found a fitted sheet available (but didn't fit the fold out couch properly) and a blanket...

"We had a xmas party to go to for the evening so was looking for a reasonably priced B and B as only wanted a bed for the night. We were sooo lucky to have found this little gem right in the centre of Newquay, owner was very attentive as was the waitress at breakfast. Room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was scrummy. We will definitely recommend you, and book again if we are out in Newquay, thankyou soo much 😉"

"We found Oasis House very clean, our room was comfortable. No noise in the house, which we really appreciated. It is set back off a main road, however we went to Falmouth by train and needed to be able to get buses and walk so that was fine for us."

"Friendly and helpful owners, allocated parking nearby. As long as you can handle the steps up to the property it's great."

"Stayed with my friend, impressions are mixed. The room was clean, but the furniture is a bit worn out. Good location — a bus stop and shops are nearby, which is very convenient. The staff were polite, but the service could be more proactive. It's fine for a budget trip, but there’s no wow-factor."

"Agnes is so welcoming and a ray of sunshine! The breakfast is a very high standard, your bedroom will be furnished beautifully and the beds are comfy. Located close to the center and free parking. "Our stay started well with a friendly welcome and the warmth continued throughout our stay, felt sad to leave. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and all delicious. A great bonus of Tregella is that it’s close to the beach (any closer and it would be on the beach) and close to the town centre but on a quiet road."

"Really lovely stay, very clean and good size room. The whole place is very well looked after. Only one suggestion would be to take an eye mask if you’re staying in the summer as the rooms are very bright first thing in the morning. "
