"Superb hotel, location is excellent with very modern facilities. Friendly staff, with a great breakfast selection. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Borovets if we were to return. This is isn’t about the hotel but Borovets resort needs to start investing in new lifts etc - the lift pass cost has increased and the facilities should too. That’s why we wouldn’t return to the resort!"

"A very nice stay here, very comfortable bed, all new after a recent refurb. Great pools and gym. My only gripe was that the hot breakfast was not hot, in fact quite cold for some items."

"We really enjoyed staying at Saint George’s Palace. The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great swimming pool and spa area. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Great to have shuttle bus to gondola. "

"Great hotel, and great location not even 10 min walk from the gondola and main attractions. Room was very spacious and tidy, the balcony was the crown jewel as it was looking the mountains and slopes. Very tidy and clean. Staff was very friendly and the amenities were great. Was just missing some cooking pans and cutlery to use the kitchen and the hobs"

"Fine, but not great. Our room included a broken shower door (large sliding glass was off track and hanging dangerously). The breakfast buffet was in a windowless basement, with a coffee machine that was broken and leaking water all over the floor. The staff was not friendly; they did not explain amenities at check-in, and when asked basic questions, they were unresponsive and curt. "Every yeat we stay at Regnum hotel and it is always perfect. They have made renovation of the main hall and it looks beautiful. Since we always book family apartment with kitchen, there are plates, glasses but never any dishes to make food - sinple soup or pasta. "

"The rooms need an upgrade. Smell bad, the towels are so used or bad washing machine. The spa is excellent and makes all money paid. We get a ticket for parking on front of the hotel. The receptionist said the parking is not free but didn’t mention we gonna get a fine if we leave the car there. We left one day earlier, but no refund or credit for that. "The Hotel Elegant Lux is in a great location just a few minutes from the ski gondola and the many bars and restaurants around town. It has a shuttle bus to and from the gondola. "A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced."

"Breakfast buffet was always empty, everything run out and they wouldn't refill, things like bacon-bread-eggs-fruit. Even when you asked if they will refill staff will rudly reply that it has run out.
