"This property looks great from outside but it needs a full renovation badly. It felt like walking into a hotel in the early 90s. Carpets in the rooms are worn out and faded. Staff don’t show a lot of enthusiasm for what they do. Housekeeping was the worst. Upon arrival I noticed duvets were not very clean. A lot of hair on and in the duvet. Beautiful hotel

"The hotel is one of the least attractive buildings on the lakefront from the outside, which is a shame, but inside it’s been done to a really high standard. Communal areas and rooms are lovely, and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Location is great - it’s elevated a bit from the lake so there are great views. Breakfast is very good and staff are welcoming."
