"This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. The house is a few hunded metres out of village and such a tranquil spot. I almost dont want to give a god review to stop this place becoming to booked up for my next visit but that would be selfish. Weather was against us as the area is quite mountainous and therefore subject o fluctuations. Car is essential. Small town nearby has everything required. "We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. "It's a long drive up winding hills, but once you arrive in Sassi, you can forget about all your worries, sit back and relax. The main farmhouse and the cottage are both well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was a godsend on especially hot days, especially for the children, who spent hours playing Marco Polo and other water games well into the evening. Our host was extremely helpful and was a walking encyclopedia of information about the surrounding areas, too....

"The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"

"The road up is narrow and a little challenging but so worth the breathtaking views !!! The pool overlooking the hills and the manicured landscaping were top notch! We were close enough to a small town to enjoy the local restaurants good food, groceries and other towns to do day trips as well. The Villa had everything to make our Stay very comfortable. The little cottage allowed us two couples separate sleeping and bathroom privacy."

Skøn vandretur på ruten Grottorotondo ovenfor huset. Eneste minus var, at vi i den grad følte os værfet ud på afrejsedagen, hvor vi egentligt havde udtjekning kl. 10, men der kom allerede folk kl. 6 om morgenen og påbegyndte klargøring af pool og udeområder med larmende græsslåning. 3 rengøringsdamer...

"My husband and I drove from Naples to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany scenery amidst our travels throughout Italy. Unbeknownst to us, GPS guided us on a much different path than we expected. A narrow winding unpaved trail up the mountain side was not what we expected and we decided to work our way down before getting stuck on the mountain path with a flat tire.
