Enjoy great fishing and water sports at Lake Texoma in this nostalgic and comfortable 2-bedroom fishing cabin in the quiet Sherwood Shores Addition. Sleeps 4 - 5.
Bedroom 1: queen bed. Bedroom 2: 2 twins. Rollaway bed in utility room.
Not wheelchair accessible.

LIMIT 1 PET (DOGS ONLY). NO EXCEPTIONS. $60 PET FEE PLUS ADDITIONAL SECURITY DEPOSIT. DOG MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED

Take a walk to the beach, or a short drive to marinas, hiking and restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen with dining space for 7. Just bring food! Open concept kitchen/ dining/ living area. Big-screen TV and DVD-player with big selection of family-friendly videos. Over the air TV.

Boat and canoe rentals available nearby at Cedar Bayou Marina. Kayak rentals from owner subject to availability. Ask us about it!

Sherwood shores cottage

Cottage was exceptional! Very clean. Plenty of amenities such as cooking utensils, towels, blankets. Anything we needed. Will definitely go back. Lots of room and privacy.

Fun with son and grandsons

We loved our cabin. It was clean, cozy, and comfy. We were surprised at how well stocked it was. I had packed a lot of stuff we did not use because it was already there!!❤

Peaceful getaway

Looks little outside but big inside and Jim is just a phone call away if you need anything we all enjoyed our stay and it was nice to turn off phones and show the kids what we had to entertain ourselves as kids board games and movies we also bought some uno cards and left so just putting it out there by something little while your there some books or board game puzzle and leave it for the next person to experience. Definitely will be back

Nice stay at the house, hope AC could have been better

It was a very clean and good home to stay at. They have every little thing you need from kitchen items to BBQ tools. Paper towels, plates, sanitizers, washer, dryer, portable fans, etc. Only thing I wish I had AC inside the bedrooms too, AC is the living room wasn’t enough to cool inside the bedrooms. It was 95 degrees outside and it took few hours to cool the room after check-in. Besides AC, everything was perfect. I’d suggest renter to switch on the AC an hour or two early before guests check in during thjs summer. I also suggest AC be installed in bedrooms, fans aren’t enough at this high temperature summer.

Attention to cleanliness

Definitely the cleaning service charged to clients does not match the cleaning provided. The place is very dusty everywhere with many spider webs in the corners, also between the curtains. We found spiders in the living room. Please pay attention to that. The photos of the place actually look better than reality, this place needs a renovation and maintenance, the air conditioning systems are very old, noisy and covered in dust, the kitchen cabinets are very old and definitely the kitchen area Bathtub is designed for people of short stature, no more than that. 5.5 feet, very uncomfortable place to shower and not ventilated at all. The living room carpet smells bad. Kitchen equipment and supplies were fine.

Convenient and comfortable

Owners are very kind and respond within a reasonable time. The only suggestion I gave was to cool house down before guests arrive for comfort purposes. Other than that the home is quite roomy, appreciated matching bedding, plenty of seating, kitchen adequately stocked, everything listed that was provided was there. The location is great. It is not right on the lake but it is a very easy walk that is nice after swimming. The swimming area is plentiful and safe. My kids and their friends swam for long period of time and loved it. It was perfect for what we were looking for. We also enjoyed using kayaks for the day. One thing to note is that there is a General Dollar close by that is pretty stocked, but other than that there are no other options. No restaurants, fast food eateries 15 minutes away. We had a great weekend...will stay again in the future.

Cabin was clean, well stocked, and you didn't need anything to bring except your own food. Bed was very comfortable. No bugs at all in the cabin. All air conditioners worked well to keep the cabin cool.

Cabin in Gordonville

We were extremely disappointed with the location. We entered the house for a couple of minutes to look around, scrambled the code as requested and took off to find another location for our stay at the lake. We did not use the house.
