"Wonderful cabin in the woods near Shenandoah NP. It was lovely to hear the birds in the morning. The porch is a wonderful place for coffee. The bed was comfortable. The hosts were friendly and check in was easy. Be sure to plan ahead food wise, there aren’t restaurants or stores nearby. This was a wonderful retreat!"

"We were in the area for only a short weekend for a family wedding at the nearby Market at Grelen. The cabin and its setting are amazing. We enjoyed spending time there on the porch and the surrounding land Saturday morning just taking in the quiet and beauty. We wish we’d had more time. The property is located in a great area to take days trips to several attractions or just enjoy, as we did, the property itself. "We originally reanted a different cabin. However i have physical limitations that made the booking difficult. The staff worked with us to get us a different cabin and we had a wonderful 30th anniversary vacation. "

"We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. "

Covered hot tub, beautiful yard and fire pit, and easy access to Charlottesville and VA wineries made this a hit. Plus it was an easy drive from DC!"

"We wanted to check out the area for a possible move coming up. Although, it was a bit more in the woods and up into the mountain than I had realized (people were not kidding when they said to make sure you have 4 wheel drive) it was a really great stay for us. My husband and two sons had to meet us there the second day so I guess that is why the cabin straight in the woods was a bigger deal to me and my daughter going it alone. It is a super cute cabin in the woods with the most beautiful view...

"The cabin was the perfect way to spend a weekend getaway. The views at sunrise and sunset were to die for. It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here."
