"Was great "

"Our 2 night stay was great. The quiet was just what we needed. Clean and very organized cottage. There was everything we needed already there (minus food & drink). There is a small store in Gooderham, & Minden or Haliburton were @ 30min away. The lake was calm and not busy. We didn't get a chance to use the Arcade, but there was foosball, darts and others games for kids. Hot tub was nice. Its only a 2 person (or 4 Kevin Harts). The sauna was nice. Took a bit to the fire going, but got it . Bathrooms, showers, were all clean and well supplied. Communication with owner was perfect. Email and emailed back. "

"We loved our stay at Lakeview Motel! The room was spacious and had everything we needed, check in and check out was easy and they provided great tips and info for the area. Such a great place to stay to visit the Haliburton area we will definitely be back!"

"Stayed here as part of a group of eight friends. The main room is beautiful and we loved hanging out there when we weren't sipping coffee on the dock. There was also plenty of space indoors and outdoors to spread out throughout the day, with lots of things to do (as described in the listing). Curtis was an excellent host -- very accommodating, communicative and generous with the check-in treats ;) We had a great time overall and would certainly recommend the place. Be aware, though, that this is an actual family-owned cottage, and as such, it isn't one of those pristine "investment properties" with coordinated linens, zero clutter, and so on. This place has personality and quirks (for example: good luck figuring out what half the light switches do). Bottom line: if a cozy, somewhat weathered and 100% authentic vibe is what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed."

"We loved our stay at the cottage! The lake was so peaceful, clear warm water. It was exactly what we were looking for and more! Rustic cottage, water toys, hanging on the dock or the beach, bonfires, fishing, exploring, sunrise paddles. The dogs were the happiest being off leash and exploring, swimming, dock diving. 10/10 recommend 👌 "

"Beautiful well-maintained house with lots of amenities. My sister and I enjoyed making ourselves lattes in the morning using the coffee station and relaxing on the deck. Lots of space for a bigger group and very close to Haliburton."
