"Jaguar Creek was a beautiful property and a wonderful place to stay on our vacation! It was centrally located, so the drive to see other places around the country was reasonable. The inland blue hole cenote and cave system was within a mile, and tours could be easily scheduled. We had a lovely cabin that was intentionally cleaned and decorated with flower petals in the bathroom and on the queen bed with towel swans to welcome us. The staff was friendly and welcoming too! They gave us a tour around the property after our check in so we were comfortable and confident navigating our way around. The walkways were surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers and trees which maintained the feeling of walking through the rain forest, and there were a couple of outdoor fireplaces to enjoy the evenings after dinner. The restaurant staff were very attentive and professional and the food was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed each meal that was prepared and served to us. The food at the restaurant was the best we had on our holiday. The staff were also accommodating if you needed anything prepared differently. The river tubing was fun and refreshing. The water was clear and you can see fish swimming beneath you as you float along. A great way to cool off on those hot days! The deck overlooked the river and had loungers for relaxing after tubing. There were a lot of different kinds of birds and we could occasionally hear the howler monkeys! We definitely recommend staying here."

"Our "cabin" was beautiful! It was a large room with a sitting area and very comfortable bed! The howler monkeys usually sounded a couple times a day. Lovely location on the river and the pools were very refreshing. Carmen was a great host and very attentive. Definitely recommend!"

"The property was so beautiful with its pool and waterfall and jungle grounds which were immaculate. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was spectacular. We only got to spend one night but wish it could have been at least four. This is the best hotel to stay in all of Northern Belize! Highly recommend!"

"I had an extended stay of 13 days at Pine Ridge Lodge. This allowed me to experience and evaluate details of the hospitality and facilities. The bottom line: Each staff member from the crew maintaining the beautiful grounds, the housekeepers, cooks (Oscar and Marcia!), wait staff and the site manager Benoni created a home away from home for me. The staff also hosted a dinner with drinks for the project participants I worked with during my stay at Mountain Pine Ridge. I travel across the world for my work and no amount of superficial flourishes such as one will find at the nearby high end lodges can compare to the exquisite professionalism and kindness of this staff. I was able to go on a few tours there as well. The experience was amazing. The WiFi is strong enough in the dining/common area for zoom calls. More importantly, the rooms were WiFi free allowing guests to experience the natural surroundings including the creek. Often Belizean lodge owners try to “improve” resorts by adding amenities like swimming pools and in room internet. Doing this diminishes the comfortable rustic nature of the location for us who wish to avoid the contrived and overpriced experiences available at nearby lodging. There is a sustainable market for rustic but comfortable lodging in stunning natural beauty complimented by staff who are caring people. One note for improvement-purchase a safe and reliable vehicle to transport visitors. Remember that visitors feel safer with seatbelts."
