Felt uncomfortable being there as it was just a pool house in someone's back yard and their large back patio looked straight onto it. I hid inside with the curtains drawn throughout my one night stay.

Wonderful Stay
Very well appointed pool house and lots of little touch's made the stay very pleasant, relaxing time by the pool and wonderful views. Would recommend this B&B. Thanks to Jacquie for her kindness

Amazing location in the hills
Really enjoyed our stay here. Jacquie was very helpful and super friendly. Patch was also equally as friendly and there to greet us upon arrival. We will be back in the summer to take advantage of the pool and decking

Perfect home away from home
The house was perfect for our very quick trip to NSW it was clean and comfortable and a lovely breakfast was provided. Our dogs were able to stay and had plenty of room to run around. The views are spectacular you can sit on the verandah and take a moment to enjoy the scenery. The hosts were really lovely people.

Cosy for Winter
2nd visit here, convenient halfway between Sydney and Albury so long as you’re prepared for your evening meal. Cosy, stunning views and great hosts. Fabulous for our pups as well. First weekend of Winter and we were warm and cosy.

Perfect Short Stay
Short stay on route to Lake Crackenback and arrived in time to enjoy drinks on the pool deck with the incredible view. Would like to return at some point and stay a bit longer to make the most of the location and property. It’s absolutely spotless and it’s been thoughtfully considered in terms of having all that you need to enjoy the tranquil location.

A cosy cottage for a weekend getaway - with more views than you can imagine!
The cottage was warm and inviting for a cold weekend and provided everything you could need to be comfortable. We loved staying here with our dog and she loved playing with Shadow too. We were made to feel very welcome and had a perfect relaxing breakaway.

Amazing place to stay
One of the most beautiful places we have stayed. Magnificent views over the Murumbidgee and surrounds, beautiful small cottage for us and our two labradors, amazing gardens, lovely host. Access road in needed repair due to recent rain. Overall it was a fabulous spot to stay overnight on our trip to Victoria.

Warm, cozy and tidy. The views are so gorgeous we could have spend days just looking at the hills, the lake and the clouds. Thank you for the fantastic four days we spent at Good Hope!

Fabulous retreat
Loved this property, chose because it's pet friendly but can't deny the views and ambience were outstanding! Well appointed with most of what you need for a short break, separate bedroom and bathroom, cosy lounge/dining, pool on the doorstep and jaw-dropping views of Lake Hume and surrounding countryside. Generous continental breakfast included, and good options to heat up our evening meal. Jacquie, our host, was warm and welcoming and so were her pups Elsa and Shadow. We loved this place!!

Relaxing retreat a bit off the beaten track with great views
Comfortable wel-appointed cottage, high on a ridge with great views over Burrinjuck dam. Good-sized pool for the warmer weather, and pleanty of room for dog to run in the enclosure. Friendly helpful hosts, Nice breakfast supplies. BYO dinner recommended, as it's some distance (~30 mins drive) from shops and eateries in Yass.

Rural Rest Stop
This is cosy clean accommodation in a quite rural location. 20 minutes off the main highway. Well worth the diversion. Well appointed lodgings with magnificent views of the valley and lake. Also has a pool, for warmer months. Highly recommended.

Relaxing, peaceful and pretty.
We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend to others. The view was gorgeous, the cabin perfect for our needs, in very good condition and the bed was comfy. I really could have stayed longer and just read, walked and looked over the valley!. (PS if you are planning to cook there is only salt and pepper so make sure you bring your own olive oil and condiments etc).

Absolutely wonderful!
You have to go to Good Hope to see for yourself. Words could not give it justice. Mandy, our dog, went around the pool, but resisted jumping in. She just loves swimming pools. The views, well, imagine you are in God’s country.

Great stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very dog friendly. Tip for new arrivals - text ahead to Jacquie so she has the opportunity to confine the farm dogs who can be quite intimidating. I was remiss in not doing that but Jacquie was very quick to allay our concerns about the dogs and kept them well away from our city fluff balls. We had a lovely stay at a beautiful location and can recommend it.

Beautiful location
A cattle and sheep property that is quiet and peaceful with a stunning view. We had a delicious evening meal that was prearranged with the property owner. The portions were generous and very enjoyable. It was a cold night but we were warm and cosy. My only concern was that there is no fence between the accommodation and the pool. Our dog is elderly and is sight impaired and so we had to keep him inside most of the time in case he fell into the pool. Other than that the property was terrific.

Nice little stop on the way home. All the basics you need and clean. Bedroom with ensuite, separate to living room.Owner greeted us on arrival. Lovely dogs on the property that are very sweet and affectionate. The unsealed road up the hill from the sealed road, is best suited for 4WD or ute, but could do it very slowly in a sedan (we were in a 4WD). We arrived after dark unfortunately, because sunset would be nice from here, but the night sky was a dazzling view.

Cosy pool house
The pool house is cosy with good heating, which you need since it can get quite cold and windy there. The bed was very comfortable. We missed having wifi because there was not good internet reception and the dirt road would have been easier to negotiate with a four wheel drive. Unfortunately it was pouring rain when we got there so walking up the path and across the lawn to the pool house to unload was not pleasant. However, this didn’t deter our dogs who jumped straight in the pool! The views over Burrinjuck Dam were amazing as was the countryside. In fine weather it would be a great spot to chill out.
