"Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe slow at peak times but you need to understand that food is made to order and NOT premade. Breakfast is a delicious spread of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, with a good selection of breads, fruits and juices. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel."

"It was an amazing stay with my parents and my grand mother. Good access, nice pool, beautiful sun sets and most importantly, excellent service. Can improve on extra bed (for a triple room) and better range with the breakfast buffet (need sea food) "

"Enjoyed our one night stay at this beach hotel. We had a lovely sea facing room with a balcony . Breakfast was buffet style and had a wide variety of food. The hotel has a small infinity pool and beach loungers with shade. We appreciated being able to order food and drink from the beach. The hotel has a gym and spa and friendly staff. Only slight downside, the hotel is a little out of the main town. Overall, a great place to relax."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The welcome was amazing!!! The rooms were beautiful. The pool was amazing! It’s right on the beach! The food was exxxxxcellent!!! We will stay here again. One of our favorite hotels in all of Sri Lanka! Madhushan helped us with our bags and was very helpful! Krishmal cleaned our room and it was SPOTLESS!! So clean and beautiful! We really appreciated each of the staff who served us. We will be back! Excellent job! "

"Nice hotel, but feels a little unfinished. The food was great, as well as service. The bay is pretty but the beach is small and waves are too strong for swimming most of the time. The suite with a pool doesn't feel as private as I imagined looking at the pictures. The pool is visible from the public beach and the rooms upstairs."
