"Great location right above the beach and close to everything but still feeling private. This house was perfect for our family of 6 it sits just up the hill from the beach and across from a little grocery store. Jose was amazing to work with and helped us arrange a boat taxi, carry our luggage, book a number of amazing tours. The outdoor shower overlooking the bay is amazing. Also the large outdoor patio is perfect for bird watching and enjoying the sunset. "

"Pablo’s home is amazing and a very unique stay to say the least. The place is great to relax and get away. I would recommend taking the flight from SJO to Drake Bay as it was really fun.The town is very small and it was a quiet and enjoyable trip. I was cautious of the open air environment but there weren’t many mosquitoes at all, so it was doable. We will definitely be back!"

"My wife and I had an incredible stay here. The place was spacious and well appointed. We made all our meals and enjoyed while watching the moneys play in the trees above. As many others have mentioned the drive in is part of the adventure and you'll want a high clearance 4x4. The beach is a short walk away and also full of wildlife. "This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife.
