"We walked to the hotel from the train station. We went out the main doors of the train station. We could have made it much easier on ourselves if we went to the lower level and crossed under the tracks. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Not too expensive, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed."

"Truly beautiful location on the banks of the Dordogne in a small vineyard. We stayed here by chance as part of a longer road trip. We wouldn’t consider ourselves wine lovers but the free wine tasting session was really informative and completely changed our outlook on wine. The hotel accommodation was of excellent standard and the hosts were very friendly. They also make excellent and very reasonably priced wines."

Fabulous holiday home with pool

"We stayed at this house for two weeks with our two adult children and their partners. Pascal and Laurence were very welcoming and checked in with us during the holiday to offer advice and answer questions but they were not intrusive. The house is well stocked with everything you need and the pool was very welcoming when the weather was hot. The location is excellent for exploring the region and we would definitely visit again!!"

Nothing but beautiful peace & quiet: Perfect!

"Most of the amenities weren’t available but the beauty of the chateau and the kindness of the caretakers more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. Breakfast is provided but you’re on your own for anything else. The shared kitchen is easy if you’re prepared. I would absolutely recommend a stay at this peaceful chateau away from the crowds. "

"This unique property was beautifully located with views over the Dordogne, a small pool which was wonderful to cool off with a glass of wine which was bought out to us. The room was very nicely decorated, rustic wooden beams and a lovely hot shower. The hosts were incrediably warm and friendly and clearly love to welcome people to their house and the local area."
