Bear Lodge - 3 Bedroom Luxurious Log Cabin, Private Hot Tub and Mountain Views

Bear Lodge is a luxurious 1200sq ft three bedroom, two bathroom lodge that comfortably sleeps 6 people with further room for 2 on the sofa bed in the lounge.
This well appointed lodge has spectacular mountain views of the mountains through and above the trees and is tucked away in a private woodland setting.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms and one bathroom. There is also a second bathroom on the main floor. Two bedrooms each have a king bed that can be split into singles and one room has a Queen bed.
The quiet upstairs bedrooms make Bear Lodge ideal for a family holiday with children, two or three couples or a multi generational trip.
This cabin is perfect for nature watching from your deck and hot tub.
Bear Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and stove. The deck also has a gas grill BBQ. The dining area can accommodate 8 people and there is a propane fireplace, wifi, smart TV and HDTV with sat channels and a Blu-ray DVD player.

Ski/Board Out is a 25 min drive to runs from the property.

Kicking Horse is 20 km away. Revelstoke is 90 minutes drive. Lake Louise is 1 hour and Banff is 2 hours.

We are a place that enjoys peace and quiet and offer that to guests with the same goals.
Please do not come if you want to have a party, event or outside music. While this is a private location, there are other lodges on the property and they may well be enjoying a quiet soak in the tub. We are here for people to enjoy the peace and quiet in a very beautiful location. People yelling and shouting will be asked to leave. The hosts live on the property and will monitor. Please avoid confrontation and do not come if you can't agree to these policies.

Charming Mountain Lodge
Beautiful setting, great porch with hot tub to take in surroundings. Good space in cabin with wood cabin charm. Not too far from town, but be sure to have good tires if coming in the winter.

The Perfect Outwest Getaway
We had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility in the cabin and the hikes on local trails. Jo's place had everything we needed and she was an incredible hostess. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves stunning views and relaxtation!

Lovely spot for a getaway
Beautiful well-made and well-maintained cabin. Peaceful surroundings but close enough for an easy trip into Golden. Nice hike up the mountain behind the cabin, and nice hot tub for relaxing after hike =) Very comfortable beds!

The property is on a quiet area in the mountain with awesome views, a trail if you want to go hike and the inside is totally beautiful. It has everything you need. Jo, the property manager was so nice and sweet. Oh, and we love to feed the horses 😊

The cabin was beautiful, clean and as described. The heated bathroom floors were a nice touch. The cabin had everything we needed; coffee, towels, pots/pans, hairdryer, fans, extra blankets… The hot tub was clean and really enjoyed on a crisp night! The guest book was well organized and included everything from how to work the TV to restaurants and sites to see! We absolutely loved this place and location.

A Gem
Nestled in the quiet hillside, this cottage provided a breathtaking retreat. The large deck provides a view of the mountain and a perfect place to unwind. A morning must, was sitting and having coffee while listening to the sounds of the forest awaken while taking in the sunrise. Great amenities and beds were very comfortable.

Excellent Easter Weekend
We stayed at the Deer Lodge over the Easter weekend and had a great time! The cabin was very clean and exactly as pictured in the on-line photos. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My 2 year old grandson especially enjoyed feeding apples and carrots to the 5 horses on the property. Will definitely book again!

Beatiful, comfortable and clean
We had a great stay in this lovely cabin. Check-in was clear and easy. Cabin was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. In addition to a lovely setting, we were able to snowshoe on a lovely trail straight out of the door. 4 adults and one dog enjoyed this property - great jumping off point to attend the world cup ski race at Lake Louise and celebrate American Thanksgiving. We hope to visit again!

Perfect place to unwind
The Bear Lodge is exactly as listed. There is plenty of room for five adults. It's very well equipped, and everything is clean and well maintained. There's a trail out back, for those so inclined, and a hot tub on the deck for those like me that just want to relax and enjoy the quiet and beautiful views. Perfect place to unwind.

Beautiful Golden Cabin
We stayed at the cabin during our family road trip to BC and Alberta. Very comfortable, clean, and felt like home. Manager was very helpful, I forgot my sons shoes and didn’t realize until we were too far away to turn back. Reached out and they mailed them to me which was so helpful! Hot tub was good and looked clean. Only a couple of suggestions. For people not used to a hot tub, the buttons were a bit confusing. Just needed a little more detail on how to operate it. And in the book (full of very helpful information!) maybe consider adding an emergency procedures page. Nothing bad happened, but I did wonder what would happen in the case of a wildfire etc as the news was talking about that. Might just be me though because I worry about things LOL. We had a great time and would come back again!

Bear cabin was wonderful. It’s just a short drive to town. There were good restaurants in town with a great variety of food. It was very handy to the highway which made it easy to explore the area. The description of the property was very accurate. We would definitely stay there again.
