We enjoyed our stay. Extremely well stocked kitchen, each couple had an ensuite bathroom, lots of space to hang out in together and a great host. We’d stay here again! She also had a Christmas tree up which was a nice touch.

Cozy House in Golden
Great house to rent in Golden - especially for couples travelling together as each room has an ensuite and is comparable in size. Lots of thoughtful touches like robes, hot tub towels, and one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve encountered! The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Hosts were kind and overall a great stay.

A beautiful and comfortable home
This lovely home is situated in a quiet neighborhood, away from the rail lines and town noise. The home is beautifully presented and offers a very comfortable stay. Home away from home
The home was well equipped for the 5 of us (3 adult children), especially with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The neighborhood is quiet and Marie-France was available to answer any needs or questions. We explored Jasper, Banff and Yoho Nat’l parks while based here. We’d love to come back during cooler weather to enjoy the hot tub. It seems we brought a heat wave with us 😅

Perfect Peaceful Place
This was a perfect peaceful place to stay with our adult children while visiting Golden to attend a wedding. Marie-France is a fantastic and very thoughtful host. The home is well appointed and equipped with everything you might need. And we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the backyard under the large shady trees.

Summer Family Weekend Away
We were in Golden for a friend's wedding and were looking for a place to accommodate my husband and I, my in-laws and my two children (3 and 1) - this was the perfect place! It has 3 rooms each with their own bathroom, a spacious living area and well equipped kitchen, and the best back yard to let the kids burn off some energy. Marie France was a great host and made our stay wonderful. I would book here again in a heartbeat!

Our group were there to compete in a golf tournament spending most time at the course. Golden is “Golden” as a destination. The accommodations were fine but showing their age. For the $ there are probably newer units available. Thank you

Lovely and calm retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Auberge Kicking Horse. We are 4 old friends in our early 70's and try to travel together once a year. Loved having a large and well-stocked kitchen. Living space was very comfortable and 3 en-suite baths were great. We took full advantage of the hot tub on the deck, right off the living room. Quiet setting. Host was very communicative both in advance and during our visit. Would definitely return.

Fabulous property and location!
The Auberge Kicking Horse B&B was absolutely perfect for our short family get-away over the Christmas season. We rented this property as a guest house rather than a B&B as there were six of us and the three bedrooms - each with its own ensuite - was well suited for us. Marie-France and her daughter Emily were so friendly, warm and welcoming making us all feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen had everything you could want to prepare meals and the living room area was cosy and well set up for guest interaction. The wi-fi was great too given that five of the six of us were connected at the same time! While the rest of my family went skiing for two days, I spent a lovely time knitting, walking around the beautiful, quiet neighbourhood and relaxing in the hot tub - which my family thoroughly enjoyed upon returning from the hill. I would highly recommend this property if you are planning on spending some time in the Golden area.

Kicking it in Kicking Horse!
Looking for an ideal property for a multi-day ski trip with a couple old friends, we came across the Auberge Kicking Horse Guest House. The Golden , BC location sits in the middle of the Canadian Rockies and provided us relatively short distances to many of the legendary ski resorts that are coveted by big mountain ski enthusiasts. Our ski days at Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, and Lake Louise were amazing and yet only scratched the surface of the many, many more resorts within a short drive from our Kicking Horse base camp. If back country ski touring is your drug of choice, the opportunities seem endless! Around virtually every corner there were mountains and snowfields begging for someone to lay fresh tracks. On arrival we were thrilled that each of the three bedrooms all had there own bathrooms and the home was clearly well cared for. Our host Marie-France gave us fantastic recommendations for local dining and flavor that we'd probably not have found on our own. We drew the short stick with regards to snow conditions but since this isn't a Yelp review, we can't very much blame our host! If anything, it only made us vow to try and get back another year to enjoy the powder these mountains dole out most of the time. When we do, we'll likely look to return to Golden and the Auberge Guest House! It's an ideal place to call base if your looking to fulfill the bucket list Canadian ski trip.
