"Lovely small home, surrounded by native bush and birdsong, and only a five min walk down a quiet laneway to the lake.Very comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces. Only one place in town to eat out so a kitchen with all amenities for cooking was much appreciated and enjoyed.We loved our stay here - hoping to come back and stay again."

We were catching up with family in Mapua and Motueka and decided to stay in Richmond as it's much more reasonably priced. And it's only a short drive. Highly recommend this motel. (also has a pool which we didn't use). "

"Our family stopped at this place for couple nights. We liked it overall - it is very new apartment with everything you might need. Hosts are great.Several things to keep in mind:- there are steep stairs for one of the beds;- other stairs are hard metal, so slippers are recommended;- couch in the living room can accommodate one kid sleeping."
