Splendido apartments were quite nice
The t.v in the lounge room lacked main channels, the remote control had no mute button either. But at least the master bedroom made up for this. Wasn't as clean as I expected as I found something on the floor that I tried on before realising it looked like a piece of something broken?

The location is fine, but the roadworks outside were noisy throughout the night and inconvenient in the day. The place needs some TLC as well.. the couch felt like it had fallen apart with lumps and dips across it. Missing aircon remotes, scuffs all over walls, marks on carpets etc.. it was safe and it was fine, but honestly a fair bit below my expectations. We got the unit at a sale price, and we figured that was some stroke of luck on our part, but really that sale price should probably be the normal price given it's condition.

I’ll start by saying that I gave the manager an opportunity to respond to my complaint but got no reply The state of the apartment was very poor and although these aren’t brand new apartments, there is no excuse for the level of cleanliness. The sheets were stained, blankets dirty, walls grubby with dried liquid dripping down but the bathroom was the worst I’ve ever seen in apartment or room that I’ve paid to stay in. Disgusting is an understatement. I felt like I needed to wear shoes in the shower and there was built up dirt and grime in the floors and around the frames. Mould on the walls too. Zero customer service. No communication before the day of check in and when I called the number off the website, it was answered by a man who just said ‘hello’. I thought I had called the wrong number, this was very unprofessional. It was disappointing that although there was a few Coffee and tea satchel’s there was no milk, even a small longlife milk. There was also only 1 toilet roll, no spares and no tissues. With no one in reception, these things should be considered and spares available in the room. There is a sign on the fridge that basically says you must clean the apartment before leaving or you will be charged a fee. Height of rudeness given the state the apartment was presented! Spend an extra $20 per night for somewhere better, heaps more options in the area!

On entry to unit it was tidy but very stale, even though the cleaning chemical was still very strong. The entire unit lacked atmosphere, the lounge was very uncomfortable -sunken. Minimal basics offered even after we had book a few days. Disappointed eg: detergent,tea, coffee, sugar. No milk.. have to rate it as one of the worst units we have stayed in.

The property is dated and a bit grubby which we didn’t mind considering the discounted price. But the mattresses made are stay absolutely awful, to the point that none of us out of the 4 people in our room got more than a few hours sleep each night. The property is in a great location and is spacious. Close to shops and transport. However, it is in need of a deep and thorough clean, especially the bathrooms as they are both very dirty. It would also have been nice to have dishwashing detergent (only 1 small sachet was provided for a 6 day stay). There were ants in the kitchen upon our arrival. We notified the manager and he kindly provided Ant Rid, however, it didn’t complete work. Overall, our stay was OK.

This was a lovely place to stay with family. The apartment was a generous size and the pool was popular with the kids. There was a warm spa for the adults to indulge in while keeping an eye on the kids.
