Bring your own everything!
We’ve stayed in several different holiday homes and this is the first where there was literally nothing for long stay families. One towel each only, no pool towels. No cleaning products except one satchet of dishwasher powder and 1 cloth. We had to ask for mugs etc and when I asked for extra towels the answer from GCHM was “ you have a washing machine and dryer. The oven doesn’t work the chairs are falling apart there is one oven tray which was filthy. The pots had burnt on food in them. The house was a shambles. Next time I’ll make sure before I book to check the house isn’t managed by a company who is obviously used to doing short term holiday apartments because I’d give up the fancy rolled towels and 3 tiny hotel bottles of shampoo etc for a house which has obviously been cared for by its owners and some thought put into what 2 families with 6 children might expect on a 2 week stay. Kids books and some games would’ve been appreciated. Honestly unless you are only staying for a couple of nights and not bringing kids, book elsewhere. This house has so much potential but is let down by the lack of care. Oh also dont be surprised if you can’t open the downstairs sliding door or the security door being propped up on the wall. Seriously disappointed.
