Riverfront Paradise w/ Hot Tub--Little River House

Welcome to the Little River House -- your slice of riverfront paradise. Located right off Highway 2 just 30 minutes from Stevens Pass Ski Resort, this home in Gold Bar, WA (aka "Gateway to the Cascades") is just minutes from hiking, kayaking, fishing, and so much more. Gaze at the stars from the hot tub or relax in the riverside hammock. Enjoy the brand new deck, fire pit, and outdoor games. We can't wait to share this lovely riverfront mountain retreat with you!

The space
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home can host up to 9 people and is perfect for families or a group of friends. Enjoy the amazing sounds of the rushing Skykomish River and breath taking views of the Cascade Mountains right from the backyard.

Our backyard is equipped with everything you need to maximize the fun — including yard games, corn hole, a horse shoe pit, and ring toss. The backyard also includes a large fire pit (BYO firewood), which is perfect for roasting marshmallows with friends and family. After a long day of skiing or hiking, relax and unwind in our hot tub. In the morning, enjoy a hot coffee from our riverside lounge chairs and wave to the kayakers floating by!

We provide a fully stocked kitchen with everything from pots/pans to spices in order to give you all the comforts of home! You can even make yourself a backyard picnic with our state-of-the-art grill located on our BRAND NEW massive deck. Both the indoor and outdoor dining tables are perfect for the entire group, seating up to 8 people each.

Our master bedroom features 1 queen size bed with a cozy comforter and plenty of throw blankets to make sure you stay warm during ski season! It also features a reading nook with a comfy chair that looks out over the river. Unwind at night with a smart TV equipped with all of your favorite streaming apps.

The second bedroom also features 1 queen bed and a smart TV.

Our 3rd bedroom includes a bunk bed with 1 double bed on the bottom and 1 twin bed on the top.

Our home is equipped with high speed wifi, which is perfect for those working from home or streaming from several devices at once.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard. Your private paradise awaits!
At this time, although the views are spectacular, there is no path currently down to the river from our backyard. There is access to the river within walking distance (0.2 miles) at Big Eddy Public Water Access.

Mother's Day trip
I wanted a short getaway with my son's and this was a beautiful spot, clean quiet home and neighborhood. We even had front row seats for the Aurora Borealis!! The beds were surprisingly comfortable, The furniture and decorations were very cute. Overall this was a wonderful location to spend a few relaxing days.

My husband, 5 kiddos, and I had a wonderful time at the Little River House! We all loved the cute, clean, cozy, well stocked, welcoming home - and the view was amazing! Scott was a terrific host - all communication was friendly, timely, and clear. We went on nearby hikes and enjoyed the river. We hope we can return someday!

Beyond Expectation
Great location to just get away for a few days. Stunning views of the mountains with the sound of the river to lull you to sleep. Loved the fenced in yard for the dog to run around and even a dog door. Plenty of spare blankets and towels for cold nights and the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay!! The house was very comfortable and has the greatest views! What a gem!
This house is located in a beautiful area. I highly recommend staying there. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with. He recommended a few spots that we took advantage of. Great hiking at Wallace Falls! And one of the best Thai restaurants right in Gold Bar, what a pleasant surprise!!

Great little river house!
Great place for a family getaway! Clean, lots of games for the family and well stocked with everything else. My husband and I took our fur babies to this adorable river house, and we were really happy with everything. The pictures were exactly what the house looked like, the view is incredible and the whole backyard is fenced for dogs. I would definitely come back here!

Blessed by Little River House
Little River House was a great meeting place for my family. The quiet simplicity and beauty were amazing. We loved sitting out and hearing the river, roasting marshmallows, sitting at the large dining room table sharing food and memories. The house was clean, bright and roomy for the 8 of us. Fun little retreat!
The Little River House was the perfect getaway. Everything you need right there on the property to feel like home. The views and sound of the river were amazing and the house was decorated with a fun, clean style. Scott was very responsive to all my questions and an excellent host. The Thai restaurant and Ricco's pizza are very tasty if you are looking to have something delivered. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.
