"Miguel was a great host and I felt immediately welcome and at home. Villa is located on the edge of town (10-15 mins to walk to shops, restaurants etc). It has beautiful far reaching views. It’s very comfortable and well furnished, has extensive grounds with many different fruit trees. It was very clean and is well equipped. It has a two ring gas hob and an internal and external BBQ. There is a lovely terrace to sit on with sun and shade and a small pool which is a short stroll from the villa...

"This is a beautiful finca offering total peace and quiet with stunning views that stretch for miles across the valley... we loved it. The finca itself is really comfortably furnished and absolutely spotlessy clean. The kitchen is superb, and the lounge is a nice space to chill when the heat of the day is too much. The outside area is huge and the pool is large, warm, and clean (thanks Loli). The highlight has to sitting on the patio watching the sun disappear behind the mountains. What a place....

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would say that the owners were the most welcoming and hospitable of any we have experienced. The house itself is a reasonable size and had all the amenities we could want (a bit like home from home). Provided you have a car then its reasonably well located to reach many places of interest. "

"Really enjoyed Estacion de Cartama. Nice little town near Malaga. The images reflect mostly the villa however the kitchen and living rooms seemed bigger on the website than in reality. An upgrade to the pots and pans would be a plus as we did a lot of cooking and it was limited. "Great holiday in rural area. Walking distance to good restaurant/bar and local shops is very convenient. Not far from interesting local tourist spots, easy access south to Malaga etc. Mountain roads quickly get narrow and steep so northward routes can be time consuming. "A group of 4 of us stayed here for a climbing holiday. We were made very welcome and communication was ok as Luna used Google translation. She sold us her fresh free range eggs for breakfast which were very good. We didn't use the pool as it was too early in the season. The only downside was the track to approach was a bit rough but we managed with our Renault Clio. It is possible to walk to Restaurant Rocabella in 20 mins where we had a lovely meal and good value. We would definitely recommend...

"The hosts, David and Margaret were absolute gems. They were friendly and generous. We could not have wished for a better experience. We enjoyed the privacy, the quiet location, albeit very close to town. It is a beautiful setting, surrounded by orange and lemon trees and their fragrance.
