"Hotel was up to standard of the company; however, the central area was not conducive to safe walking after dark. I was accosted by an unsuccessful 'Artful Dodger' during my 90 second walk from the only viable restaurant to the hotel. During the day such considerations were not apparent. The other Protea hotel on the lagoon would be preferable. "

"A high quality hotel. Well presented, clean and with a feel of luxury. Staff who greeted us and the lady who prepared breakfast were very professional and cheerful. Breakfast was a mix of hot and cold with a wide choice to pick from. Height recommend this small hotel. "

"Rude management, bedding in a pile on the beds unmade, single bed duvet for two beds pushed togther .. refused to provide double bed duvet though they did provide a second single duvet, one single blanket and one towel. when questionned we were told its the onwers decisionn and the manager had lots of eperince so they were correct. it was explained that many customers complained about the beds then the followng mornign the opposite was told to us. Never again"

"New construction so you won't find any "old world" charm here. But it is clean, well fitted with everything you need, great location. Beds/bedding quality excellent, bathrooms well equipped. Breakfast service was more than adequate. Stayed 4 nights and cannot complain. Also, we had to make a change to our reservation at the last minute and the hotel accommodated us with no penalty. Much appreciated! Only issue - as a family that booked 2 rooms, would have been slightly easier for us if...
