"We came from the east cost of America to visit the Rhône valley wine area. The cottage was perfect stay for our trip. The road in and out of town is quite rural and driving should done with caution. "

"Lovely modern gite in the heart of Ardeche and equiped to a high standard. The driveway is a bit steep for a low profile car, mine ended up with scrapes under the bumpers but with care it was possible to monoeuvre. In truth the only real downer was the pool which is the largest I've ever seen for the sole use of a single gite but was simply too cold. I was assured the pool was heated but you couldn't tell, such a shame."

"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce logement ! La propreté et les équipements, permettent de se sentir rapidement comme à la maison. La localisation est idéale, nous sommes à 30 - 45 min de différents sites touristiques. La vue de la terrasse n'a pas de prix et cette petite piscine était la bienvenue avec cette chaleur. "Formidable weekend entre amis dans un cadre superbe. Les équipements et les literies sont top, la grande pièce est parfaite pour se retrouver nombreux autour de la table et pour faire la fête. Piscine, ping-pong, pétanque à disposition. On reviendra !"

"We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in this property for a week in August. The property was very clean and everything was in good working order. Night-time and early morning temperatures were low due to the altitude, but it soon warmed up and by lunchtime it was quite hot. Le Chambon-sur-Lignon is quite small, but it has all the shops you might need during your stay (bakers, supermarkets, ice-cream parlours, pharmacy, etc.). "We returned to this Gite this year. We never do this and that shows how much we enjoy this property. It is perfect for families, the Gite itself and the gardens are beautiful. The pool is great and the boule and table tennis were enjoyed by everyone."

Lovely quiet clean hotel

"Very simple check in. Room fresh and clean with very comfortable bed. Quiet location with a restaurant next door if you need to eat. Continental breakfast to set you up for your day. The bathroom towels were a bit on the small side but not really an issue. Altogether a great option to stop off on a drive to Spain. "
