"Jan5-9th 2025 Had a wonderful time while we were snowed in from Winter Storm Blair which brought a level 3 snow emergency to the area.  All roadways were closed! We luckily stopped at the grocery store for food on our way  "just in case"  and the snow started just as we arrived!We enjoyed our 4 days playing games, watching movies and reading  by the fireside. Lots of time was spent in the hot tub!Joey and Jessie were great hosts and kept us up to date with what was going on with the storm level...

"One suggestion would be to put some salt on the ramp and walk way and a bit cold. But that was to be expected since we came in the middle of a snowstorm… would be an awesome stay in the summer months."

"Nice cabin. The hot tub was sort of small and missing some covers on the return which could be dangerous for younger ones. It was nice to have a fireplace but the instructions to open damper was a little confusing since it was already open and didnt look like it could be shut. I brought a bunch of dvds to watch for Christmas but there was no dvd player. Overall a nice place and would book again."

"We loved our stay at Ellis Edge Cabin. We took our older grandkids for a couple days away with some winter hiking. The cabin was great and so close to Old Man's Cave where we hiked to Cedar Falls and back in a couple inches of snow. Upon our return the hot tub at the cabin was a big hit. The older boys battled for bragging rights at the pool table and enjoyed lounging and watching movies in the theater room. They even made use of the fire pit the first night.
