"This property is immaculately maintained! The rental is extremely well thought out. We were in awe of all of the little things; from tons of towels, soap, condiments, coffee, firewood, Lauren thought of everything! We could not have asked for a better cottage in the woods. This location shown on a National Geographic map has very little light pollution making it the ideal location for stargazing! It was an easy drive on highway 59 from New Orleans. Lauren provided directions that were simple and easy to follow! I cannot say enough good things about our experience!. "

The cottage was wonderfully comfortable and provided every amenity I needed, making it feel like a home away from home. I was surrounded by rich history, with each part of the grounds steeped in stories of the past. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with expansive and picturesque grounds that invite peaceful walks and moments of reflection. The property manager was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs I had. A highlight of my stay was meeting the owner, who generously shared stories and the history of the plantation, including insights into the life of Jefferson Davis, adding depth to my experience. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here to anyone who appreciates history, natural beauty, and a touch of Southern hospitality. It was a truly wonderful and memorable experience"

"Wonderful farmhouse property in southern MS! Great spot to unwind and enjoy nature, yet still enjoy all modern comforts. Property backs into woods, which provided great privacy and opportunity to see local wildlife. The outdoor deck area and pool were the focal point of our stay, kids enjoyed the large pool and outdoor play structure / games while we had great line of sight from deck. House itself is very comfortable and kitchen is fully equipped for prepping / cooking. By far the most complete kitchen we have ever experienced in a rental property. Michael was a fantastic host, very responsive and attentive to all of our questions. We really enjoyed our long weekend at his farmhouse, its a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. We hope to be back soon! "

"The mobile home was clean and well maintained. Pretty secluded but just a short drive from Meadville. The Wi-Fi did not work but the host did attempt to fix the issue. The host communicated well and stayed in touch."
