"My stay at the Diplomat was lovely. It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful, historic building. The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower too! I ate at the downstairs restaurant twice, both times exactly what I needed with good food and attentive service. "Perfect base for sightseeing. The old town is just 10 minutes walk away and metro, buses and trains are a few metres from hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast catering for all tastes.
