End the day in front of the crackling wood-burning stove, cook together in the well-equipped kitchen or enjoy entertaining game nights at the inviting dining table. In the morning, the sun greets you on the terrace, ideal for a hearty breakfast with a view of the mountains. You can also round off the day here with delicious barbecue dishes.



The area is a paradise for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. Flattnitz is a climatic health resort, thanks to its altitude and the absence of deciduous and fir trees, allergy sufferers feel at home here. Numerous hiking trails lead you through idyllic alpine landscapes, along crystal-clear streams and the picturesque Flattnitz mountain lake. A trip to Lake Wörthersee with its turquoise waters and varied leisure activities is also well worthwhile. In the nearby castle town of Friesach, you can immerse yourself in medieval flair and experience first-hand how a castle is built using centuries-old techniques.
