Got the job done
I want to start by saying the host was incredibly responsive and did try to mitigate all of our issues that we ran into but some of the things were out of their control.
My biggest complaint with this property was that it didn’t feel prepared for us. We started with 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and 2/3 roll of paper towels for a 3 night holiday week stay. There was significant dog poop left in the yard, food under the couch, and hairballs in the living area. We also experienced 2 power outages.
When we contacted the property owner she did bring us more paper goods promptly, and picked up most of the dog waste from the yard.
Also, it can be quite noisy being in a unit under the host, so if you are a sound sleeper keep this in mind.
I did really like the location of the unit, and the private entrance. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils. Overall, it got the job done, and we enjoyed our visit. I just wish there had been a bit more preparation for our visit.
