"Lovely large room with spacious and clean bathroom. Easy to get to with loads of parking and quick walk into Donegal to see the castle or a local pub (The Forge is 100m away and also excellent). Would highly recommend getting the breakfast (12.5 Euro pp) as it was delicious and excellent value. "

"This guest house was well located to restaurants and stores. Parking was a little challenging but we did fu d some on the street till early morning. Overall nice place. "

"The owner let us in showed us around the property and left. We didn't know that there were other guests as no one was there when we arrived. They obviously weren't happy about us being there we cold hear them through the walls arguing about us being there that we were gonna eat their food downstairs in the kitchen. It made for a stressful stay we couldn't wait to leave in the morning early! The house is lovely, but they were doing construction next door and they showed up early to move...

"Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again "

"The minute we walked into this cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our extended family meet-up in Ireland. Beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and furniture. The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage. "8 adults in our group who all enjoyed staying at Hilltown. Very clean and tidy, spacious with large dinning space, nice sittingroom and very comfortable double/king sized beds. Ideal for families with children who can sleep in the room with 2 bunkbeds though that was a bit more challenging for our older group of adults getting up to the top bunks! Jennifer was very helpful on arrival and was nearby and contactable for any issues. We would all recommend Hilltown as a great base for exploring...
