"Great spot at the door step to Mt Feild. Very few places this close to Tasmanian wilderness at your front door with all the comforts of home. Excellent cafe called Fika nearby at Maydena. Worth the short drive for morning or afternoon tea or a great lunch. Highly recommend."

"This was a great place that easily accommodated our group of three families. It was on a beautiful property with a great walking path, the kids loved watching the geese in the water, and exploring the riverside. The kitchen and dining areas were a good setup to cook for our whole group of 14 people, with plenty of refrigerator space for groceries. "For the price the room was adequate we had booked the larger room with e beds but they made a mistake for the first night and had to stay in the single queen room 1 night pretty small. They did comp us that night which was nice of them and then stayed in bigger room which was nice and spacious and happy we got it....we did rebook this hotel for the end of our trip as well. No cooking facilities in the room has a small fridge and they provided a breakfast box with milk cereal and juice for the morning which was a nice perk. We did find a free barbeque at a nearby park (1 minute drive) and cooked up some burgers . It seems these barbeques are quite common around Tasmania."

"My family and I stayed at this beautiful luxurious home for our holiday. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, the layout of the home was very suited for my elderly parents located in a beautiful peaceful street with a beautiful view. The pantry was full of various herbs and spices, the coffee machine was easy to use, which catered for our coffee kicks for the day. Most of all, Mark and Miriam are amazing hosts with their prompt responses. The art on the wall is absolutely mesmerising, we had everything we needed and more to feel we were home away from home.
