"We ended up leaving the property. Upon arriving, the house was extremely hot. The listing stated AC but a note on the thermostat said Do Not Use. The room AC's in the MBR cord was cut. There were no screens on the doors and the window screens were dirty. The rest of the house was very clean, except the kitchen sink which needs replacing. "This large house is nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed having the option of sitting on the covered patio or the elevated open-air deck. The views of the lake were incredible, with amazing sunrises and so many brights stars at night. The location is perfect! The area is quiet and only a short drive to shopping and restaurants. We went on several scenic drives to places near the home such as Lumberman's Monument and Tawas Point Light Station. The beach (at the end of the backyard lawn)...

"We loved the house, it was so cozy and cute. The best part was that it was so tucked away it felt like you were surrounded by nothing. All you could hear outside was the birds chirping and the trees rustling in the wind, very tranquil as my partner said. We LOVED the wood burning fireplace inside it made it that much more cozy and relaxing. Great winter getaway when you are just looking for a break from everything. "
