"Lovely place. We stayed with our small dog for a couple of nights. Facilities are amazing, golf, spa, swimming, gym, etc. Set in beautiful, peaceful grounds with easy access to Douglas (20 min drive) We had a 3 course meal in one of the restaurants and not only was the food amazing and very reasonably priced for the quality but it really felt like they went the extra mile... and were happy to. The chef prepared a special sauce to accomodate my partners food intolerances and the dog was offerred a plain char-grilled chicken in the restaurant as well. "

Lucas, Marianne, and Grace were incredible – always so helpful, attentive, and genuinely sweet. Their warmth and professionalism made the experience even more special. From the beautifully updated interiors to the impeccable service, the Halvard Hotel is a gem. I left with nothing but positive memories and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the Isle of Man. Can’t wait to return!"

"The Claremont is in a perfect location on the seaside in central Douglas. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and efficient. Dinner as well as breakfast the next morning were wonderful. Room had a tub AND a walk-in shower! "
