"The property was spotless! It's close to many sights on the central Oregon coast. Everything is a short drive in either north or south on Highway 101. It's perfect for two couples as it has two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Plenty of stores, restaurants and shops within a short walk. The deck on the first floor was perfect for watching the ocean surf roll onto the beach below and for enjoying the sunset with a glass of your favorite beverage."

"We totally enjoyed our stay, loved watching the birds (especially the pelicans), and much appreciated having a corner unit with windows that gave us a panoramic view! Of the local attractions our favorites were Boiler Bay (near the Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay) and the Siletz Bay 1-mile nature trail (go 5.8 miles south from the Sea Gypsy, then take poorly marked left turn opposite the Key Place turnoff). "

"This property is great in terms of location and accommodations. I felt like I was right on top of the ocean! Just stunning views and so close to town. I did have a little trouble when I arrived because I couldn't get the lock to work. Ended up calling and someone came to help right away. The only other negative is that I think the checkout time is too early."

"The bed is not comfortable. Every night we would get whiffs of Natural Gas even thought the fire place was shut off. The room as HOT! No windows fo open but the sliding glass door to open, but didn’t feel safe sleeping with it open. A couple fans would have been nice. The 10 digit code to get the door locked was a bit much. A shorter one or the option of a key would have been nice. Otherwise the place was clean. Only briefly heard neighbors being loud, but didn’t last long. "

"Places on the ocean have a hard time keeping up with the odd ball maintenance and this place is no exception. Handrails are rough, and the door has big gaps around the frame. That being said, the balcony looks right over the water and that was all i really wanted. "

"The room smelled overwhelmingly like cleaner chemicals to the point my eyes were watering and I was coughing. Also no privacy, the blinds were see through and the neighbors would have been able to look into me and my wife in bed from their balcony. Could here every movement from the room above us. We lasted about 30 minutes, got a room somewhere else and we’re refused a refund"

"This is the second time I have stayed here w/ my family, and we really enjoy the property. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and cute, and the set-up has everything we need. Price is super reasonable as well. This time there was a slight snafu when checking in, but Peggy was super responsive and the problem was solved in under two minutes. Definitely plan on staying here again the next time we come to the coast!"
