"We gifted my father in law a trip to Gettysburg for his 80th birthday. And being a Huge civil war buff this house was the perfect place to stay. Right on the battlefields. A pond for fishing (which everyone loved) and a farm style house that was homey and quiet. It was a close enough drive to everywhere we needed to go but far enough away. "We were in town for a family gathering and wanted to stay nearby. This property was clean, modern, well decorated, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night and listening to quiet nature. Our kids enjoyed seeing animals at a farm nearby, as well as the trampoline. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was easy to cook in. Overall, a great stay and clear communication with host. We hope to stay again in the future and try out the fire pit! "
