The front porch is a great spot to gather with your loved ones and spend a quiet evening sharing fun stories and planning your next adventures. When the sun sets, you might as well gather around the firepit for a thrilling outdoor experience. The spacious deck provides guests with the ultimate sunbathing spot with a couple of beach chairs and several patio chairs.

The inviting living area has hardwood floors, a wood fireplace, a flatscreen TV with cable, and plenty of comfortable sofas. Show off your cooking skills in the spacious and well-appointed kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances. The adjoining dining table seats up to 10 - perfect for family meals! Additionally, the breakfast bar offers four extra spots. There is a beautiful and sunny sunroom with a comfortable seating area and a pub table for four.

Great cottage on the big lake
The Sandy Bear cottage was perfectly situated a mere 100 yards from the boardwalk leading to the beach and 500 yards from all the shops and restaurants in the other direction. The home is so well situated close to everything that you could literally leave your car in the driveway for the entire stay and walk or bike to everything. This beautiful home had everything needed for our family to enjoy the week, and I think the best part was the beautiful decks and porches to enjoy quiet morning moments and the sunset after a long day of swimming or biking. We are bikers, so being less than a quarter mile from the Heritage Trail access was a bonus. This was a great stay, and after renting weekly cottages for 11 years in the area, I can say that this cottage was one of the best. Sincerely, The Green Family

Awesome house close to water and town.

The house is perfect and well appointed. Great location close to the Sleeping Bear heritage bike trail, downtown Glen Arbor, and an easy 2 minute walk to the beach. Great views of Lake Michigan and Manitou islands from the deck.

We absolutely LOVED this house! So spacious, comfortable and right in the heart of Glen Arbor. It’s about a 30 second walk to the water which was lovely. Communication with the rental company was a breeze and we really enjoyed our stay. Only slight downfall was that the bathroom locks didn’t work, probably damaged from previous renters but it wasn’t really an issue since there were only a few of us at the house. I reported it and was thanked and assured it would be fixed after our stay :) the house was very clean and inviting and we have no complaints ! Definitely would stay there again!

We had a great time at this property. It's centrally located to all the great towns in NW Michigan and it couldn't have a better location in Glen Arbor to the beach (100 yards) or to town. We can't wait to head back!

Great house right in Glen Arbor!
This house was the perfect fit for our family. It's very close to the lake and a short walk into town. Perfect for our kids and their friends to walk into town when they wanted. The house is spacious and well equipped. I especially liked the screened in porch!
