The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the West End of Glasgow which is a very safe area and home to some of the best architecture in the city. The area is predominantly residential but there are some great cafes, bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The Botanic Gardens and stunning University of Glasgow are both 20 minutes walk. Byres Road and Ashton Lane are 20 minutes walk and are home to some of the best bars and restaurants the city has to offer.
Getting Around:
The location of the property is perfect for guests that are looking to explore the area on foot. However there are plenty of options for getting around. Hyndland Train Station is only a few minutes walk and the train takes you into Glasgow Central Station in 17 minutes. Trains run every 12 minutes. Partick Underground Station is a 15 minute walk and provides easy access to the majority of the city. Glasgow International Airport is 20 minutes by car or taxi. A taxi to the airport would cost approx £20. Uber operate in Glasgow if you have the app, alternatively you can wave down a black cab on the street if it has its yellow light on.
