The Space:
Entrance into hallway with wooden flooring. To the right is a good sized double bedroom with wardrobes and a dressing table. There's a hairdryer in dressing table drawer and plenty of available sockets for your phones and other devices you may have.
The bathroom is next to the bedroom. It has an electric shower which is easy to use. Shampoo, body wash, body lotion, toilet tissue and towels are all provided for your comfort.
The living and kitchen space are to the left of the entrance. This area has a breakfast bar with stools, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, hob and oven, fridge. There is cutlery, utensils, pots, oven dishes and crockery if you decide you've overdone it with all the fantastic restaurants on your doorstep!
There is a cupboard in the kitchen containing an iron with board and cleaning materials, kitchen towels and a small box with odds and ends like a sewing kit, tape, plasters, glue, scissors etc. Please feel free to use if needed.
Instruction manuals for the electrical equipment are in the kitchen drawer.
The lounge area beyond the breakfast bar has 2 sofas and a small tv.
There is Wifi throughout the apartment.
All the main rooms have electric panel heaters which are controlled manually.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the vibrant and eclectic West End, just off Byres Rd and Dumbarton Rd, you will have a fabulous choice of restaurants, coffee shops and bars.
There is a Sainsburys supermarket 3 mins walk away.
The subway is super handy. Leave the flat turn right, then right again and you are there in 1 minute
The famous Glasgow West End socialising area is Byres Rd. Leave flat, turn right and walk to to the end of the road and you're there!! The Botanic Gardens are at the very top of Byres Rd.
Off Byres road behind Hillhead subway is Ashton Lane. Here you can enjoy the famous cobbled streets full of bars eateries and a lovely little cinema,The Grosvenor where you can book a cosy sofa at the back and a glass of vino whilst you enjoy a movie. There are also a few bespoke shops and vintage stores which are worth a look.
Glasgow University is close by, within a 5/10 min walk.
The Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum are a 10 min walk away. The building itself is worth a look and is surrounded by Kelvingrove Park and the River Clyde. Entry is free.
The SEC, Armidillo and Hydro are music and exhibition venues which are a 6 min taxi drive 30 min min walk away.
Getting Around:
Glasgow has an excellent transport system with frequent buses and subways to most locations. You can also make use of the affordable taxis and Uber, particularly if you are carrying heavy bags. If you would like to travel in a healthy and fun way consider renting out a bike and travelling via the various bike routes available.
