"A really lovely hotel and a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to sit with a drink or book and obviously beautiful gardens to explore. Food was delicious! Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing."

"We all enjoyed our stay very much! Lovely walks down to the ocean, watching the sunsets and beers at the pub. I don’t recall the listing saying there was no wifi which may be important to some. The town of Skibbereen itself was about 10 mins away and really charming. Breda was super helpful and responsive. Thanks for a great week!"

Clonakilty was also our favorite destination, as far towns with shopping goes, and it was close by! We happily spent most of the time at the place though. We feel lucky that John showed us the process of milking the cows and their adorable dogs led the way on the gorgeous walking paths. Thank you Deirdre and John:)"
