"Absolutely loved our stay at Sweetfern INN. The owners are the nicest hosts you could ask for. We were last minute online bookers, so kinda popped in unexpectedly, but they welcomed us and quickly got our room ready for us. We sat and chit chatted for a bit upon arrival and discovered my husband went to school with some of their family. Our room was clean and comfortable. Drinks and snacks were provided in room as well as a small dining area across the hall which included a microwave, small...

Sunset View on Lakeshore Drive

"My dad's family is from the area. He wanted to visit with my siblings and I to show us all the family landmarks and places from some of his adventures "back in the day". This house was the perfect location (close to everything we needed to see and just down the street from some relatives). The house was stocked with everything we potentially needed, and the views were so pretty. Would stay again if back in the area."

"Nonstick cookware was scratched up. Lots of cooking utensils provided. Corn kernals found in one bed, pinecones found in another. Plenty of towels provided, but could use more wash cloths. Night stand in master bedroom unstable. Liggts are dim, could use more/brighter lighting. Directions to home via Google Maps are about 1/2 mile off. Overall a beautiful home. Host very responsive to messages. "

"Overall, the stay was great. The views were stunning and the property was beautiful. Our group enjoyed fishing, swimming, fires and kayaking, plus relaxing on the wrap around deck. The house is great for big groups, although the beds are not as accommodating as per the listing. Note for future guests- bring extra paper towels, garbage bags and a dish sponge or cloth for dishes as there was not enough provided. Also it’s a bit of a drive into town & shops were closed before 4pm on a Saturday....
