"This place was perfect size for my husband and I and another couple to stay and enjoy an extended weekend. I give it a 4 star over all stay due to the 2 bedroom has more of a closet door instead of a true door that had difficulty closing at night. All new appliances were perfect for cooking dinner at night and perfect location to do the Nelson 151 wine tour."

"We had a wonderful girls weekend at this sweet cottage. Felt just like visiting your grandmother’s house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Access to the pool was easy. Our host was lovely. She checked in on us when we arrived and the morning we left. Great little place to escape to for a weekend."

"We loved our time at the Quaker Cottage! It was everything we expected it to be an more. The hosts were very attentive and easy to contact. Check in and out was a breeze and the location is great. We enjoyed the quite and cozy atmosphere of the cottage. It was a comfortable and relaxing place to return to after a day out in town. We even got a visit from a couple of deer during our stay."

"A great place for a small family to stay! We liked everything about it. The stairs are steep — almost more of a ladder — so unless kids are a little older or good at obeying their parents, I’d offer a bit of caution is required. But the cottage was quiet and lovely for our 2-day visit to Sweet Briar College, especially since lodging was hard to find. Communication with the manager was clear and easy via SMS and email. Look no further!"

The website was a great touch and communication before and during our stay was excellent. Beautiful place with all the little touches one could ask for. "This is a gorgeous house and property. Meticulously maintained, well stocked, spacious and comfortable, lovely location, beautiful all around. The house is on the top of the hill with amazing views and lots of windows to enjoy it. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seems fully stocked for easy cooking. It was an easy and beautiful drive to nearby cideries and Cville. A real gem, hope to stay there again."
