"Can't beat the views"

"Beautiful house set in lovely gardens with stunning views of the hills and village below. The house was spotlessly clean with all the facilities we needed to make our stay so comfortable. 35 minute drive to Bilbao and just over an hour to San Sebastián and easy access to vineyards in the Rioja region. Mikel is a wonderful host giving us clear directions and getting us back in quickly when we managed to lock ourselves out.We hope to stay here again."

"Si estas buscando un alojamiento donde descansar alejado de la multitud no busques más, es éste. La casa está en medio del campo rodeada de invernaderos y la vivienda se encuentra en una primera planta a la que accedes desde una planta menos uno por un ascensor, en la planta baja viven los dueños, muy amables, solo coincidimos con ellos en un par de ocasiones en la calle. Cuenta con todo lo que puedas necesitar durante tu estancia ( cocina equipada, lavadora...) y la ubicación es perfecta para...

"La procédure d’arrivée était complexe, communication pas très aisée avec le gérant car ne parlait pas français. La maison était très propre. Quelques bémols, concernant la vaisselle, les ustensiles, la maison n’est pas assez fournie. Cafetière trop petite pour 8. Cuisinière à gaz dans une Location ce n’est pas l’idéal avec la bouteille de gaz dans la cuisine. Il faudrait installer des lumières led blanches au rez-de-chaussée, car c’est vraiment trop sombre, c’est l’endroit où nous cuisinions,...

"Great location, close to old town and near a grocery store. VRBO bed listing is incorrect. There is a primary room with a queen (not king) and a second bedroom with a bunkbed, twin on top, double/full on the bottom, not three beds). There is a futon full/double in the living room. Owner left us a key across the street. It would be nice to supply a book explaining all the rules, appliances, wifi etc. We had to figure out or YouTube everything. "

"Dit huis is zelfs beter dan de beschrijving en foto's doen vermoeden. Wij verbleven met twee gezinnen en hadden vier keurige slaapvertrekken en dito saniraire voorzieningen. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst met een duidelijke uitleg van huis en omgeving. Bij vragen was eigenaar enthousiast om een oplossing aan te dragen. Dank Pedro!"

"Excellent accommodation - the house is well presented and full of character. There is plenty of space and it is well equipped. It is in a small village accessed up a winding mountain road. The area is rural and unspoilt, and popular with hikers and cyclists. The house was an ideal place from which to explore locally and farther afield, including Bilbao and Santander."

"La vue de la terrasse est vraiment exceptionnelle. Le petit studio mis à notre disposition est vraiment bien pour deux personnes. En plus, le ménage était fait chaque jour. Les nuits sont très calmes. Possibilité de prendre un copieux petit-déjeuner le matin. Cette localisation nous a permis de découvrir les petits ports de la côte Basque, mais aussi l'intérieur des terres. Bilbao est à un peu plus d'une heure, parfait pour visiter le musée Guggenheim. Pour finir, notre hôtesse était charmante....

"La casa es impresionante. Lo tiene todo. Ubicación, diseño, todo lo que puedas necesitar lo tiene, menaje, ropa de cama y baño, juegos, material deportivo..... Esta cerca de la costa y de Bilbao en una Urbanización apartada que da una tranquilidad excepcional. Sólo un pero, no hay calefacción central y los radiadores eléctricos y la chimenea no dan para calentar una casa tan grande. "Our stay at Basoan was amazing. It was a nice central location from which to take day trips into Bilbao or around the region. The hosts were very helpful and generous. The room and surrounding area was very relaxing - just what we wanted after a week of traveling around. If we are ever in the area we will most definitely stay here again."

"We chose this as a mid spot to access San Sebatian and Bilbao which it was good for. Lots of space but there was no wifi which came as quite a surprise. You really need a car to get anything or go anywhere. The train is right there but very long rides. Lots of windows but had to have all the blinds shut for privacy. Kitchen was missing a few important things but host was quick to help."
