"Everything about our stay in this house was amazing! You can not ask for better views and the home owner went above and beyond for us when we ran into probelms with our travel plans and she allowed us to extend our stay by two nights. We can not recommend it enough and will absolutely be trying to come again."

"This house is the perfect location if you want to get away from it all. The proprietors were unbelievably hospitable and kind. It is not unusual to be awakened by sheep bleating, along with their bells. The view is stunning, and because of the latitude, you get to see it very late and early in the day. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. If possible, I would definitely like to go back."

"This is lovely little place is on Sykkylvsfjord, halfway between Sykkylven and Straumgjerde. It is brand new construction, similar to a vacation condo type unit, split level, and shares a common driveway and a very large outdoor deck on the fjord with three other units of similar vintage. We chose it for its central location in Møre og Romsdal county and day trip access to hiking trails and towns in several fjords in the region. The kitchen is small but does most everything you need. "My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place!
