I’m from the coast so I knew my way around town but it was good to see that they had a info folder in the room full of information on things you can do in the township and also had a list of local restaurants/food recommendations a lot of other useful information. Over the past couple of years I have noticed that alot of other motels no longer provide these but I find them very useful so I liked the fact that they provided this. Our room was the perfect size for us . I would definitely stay again "

"The room at the Senator Motor Inn was just what we needed after many days of travelling. We walked in and all you could see was the river and the marina. It was beautiful. The room was spotless and the staff were so pleasant. "

"We had an upstairs room looking out over the bay. It is a strange arrangement with the bathroom room and small galley kitchen between the living room and bedroom and accessible from both. However it works just fine. The person on reception was very friendly and helpful. The motel is right on the beach and boardwalk and a 10 minute walk into town. Thoroughly recomment if staying in Gisborne."
