The property was a little beat up- one of the windows wouldn’t shut and there was a storm that night the window was banging and it scared my youngest son. Although, you had to climb a significant amount of stairs to get to the property, it felt like it was straight out of a movie. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to get to with minimal stairs from the train station. It was really nice having the patio with a view of the sea. The place has a wonderful aesthetic that really suits the property. There are tight stairs up to the bedroom level so we opted to leave our luggage in the front room. Wasn't an issue for us. The washroom is also down stairs. So if you have to get up in the middle of the night there are quite a few steps (2 lvls). The trade off is it is...

"The apartment is spacious, has everything you need - but the garden just below the path - wow! The garden has an amazing view of the ocean. It has a beautiful lemon tree to sit under as you enjoy the sunset. We had breakfast and dinner in the garden every day. Highly recommended."

"We were blown away by our stay at Lorella’s beautiful guest cottage in Manarola overlooking the Ligurian sea, Manarola village and mountain vineyards! Lorella was the consummate host to welcome us to her home and village and to explain trails and restaurants nearby. It was a perfect space for a couple. "If you're looking for a simple place to stay this place is wonderful. 4km from the main road in amongst the hills of Tuscany. The villa is clean and simple. The owners were very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom very clean and new. We lacked a kettle or large mugs in the kitchen but boiled water in a pan and had brought some plastic cups with us as we are avid tea drinkers but tea is not so readily found here. "The property is lovely, very clean and comfortable. The views from the terrace of the surrounding mountains are superb, and the area is very quiet. We booked the "Cook at home" experience and I have to say it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The pool is well maintained and a good size, but could maybe benefit from some umbrellas/shade. Overall we had a fantastic week here and would definitely book again!"

"Daniela was a gracious host and was very responsive to our texts on WhatsApp before we arrived. She also met us and let us into the apartment, which was very helpful. Her clean, well-stocked, adorable apartment is on the 3rd floor and the elevator right next door was very convenient for heavy suitcases.
