"Few places can boast such a relaxing and private stay. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. Baccus was an amazing on-site manager of the property, and he saw to our every need! The space is amply stocked with herbs and oils. You cannot go wrong staying here. It feels like ‘home’ and the view from the bedroom balcony is amazing. The outdoor shower is so fun! There is a nice cafe at the head of the driveway, so you can easily got a smoothie or something heartier for breakfast. Our fave was...

"This is a lovely home in a beautiful location. Great views from the back deck and we loved the wild life! We enjoyed walking to the Hermitage for breakfast some mornings and pizza on Fridays. There is a super little pool, and spectacular gardens lovingly cared for by Curtis..Gantt is a first class host."

"The property was great. We really enjoyed the monkeys and the Pavillion restaurant. The only problems were the tiny black ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. The bidet in the front bathroom did not work, there were only two towels per bathroom, and the front bathroom had no shower curtain or blinds on the bathroom shower for privacy, we couldn't find any kitchen towels."

"Amazing location, views stunning! This little cottage was perfect, quiet and ideal for what we needed for our stay on Nevis! Austin the host could not have been more helpful before and during our stay! He communicated with us before hand sending useful information, he collected us, drove us around and took us the supermarket! Our hired car was waiting for us and we had the best 3days doing as much as we could and always looked forward to coming back to the cottage to enjoy the views and...

"What a change of scenery this was compared to living in a city! Now that I'm back home, I miss the sounds of nature from this place. At first, the sounds of the insects, goats and chickens was kind of a shock to my system. I had a hard time sleeping for the first night or two. But I totally got used to it, and now I miss it. "Sunset Reef is fairly new with 7 suites - all with a view. The hotel management and staff are extremely helpful and eager to please. The food in the restaurant is very good. At check-in, we were greeted with frozen fruit drinks, cold towels and water, plus some fruit in the room. Lovely sunsets from the restaurant! Hotel beach is rocky and is being worked on. "

"The hotel is in a very great location. Best tolits of restaurants and the beach is within walking distance. The room was very clean and our towels were changed every day. The grocery on the compound was ideal and convenient. The lobby needs a makeover, it's the first impression you get of the hotel, and it's is just drab. The buildings on the property iss a bit dated and could also do with a face lift. Overall our stay was great, staff very helpful and friendly."

"This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms. There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast). The pool, while short, has a spectacular view and is a lovely place to sunbathe. On balance, I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends."

"Beautiful location, nice smaller hotel. Front staff all kind and helpful. Restaurant is a little expensive with smaller portions and servers seemed a little disenchanted. Location is 5mins from the airport but a 10-15min drive to the port and 15min drive to Frigate Bay so not walkable to anywhere but you can hire the hotel transport for a very reasonable price and excellent drivers. Would definitely recommend - overall excellent value for a good price. "
