"We really enjoyed our stay in Lamoura. The property is beautifully decorated and well appointed and there was a lot to do in the area, including running, cycling and swimming. The large garage was invaluable on rainy days for entertaining the kids and drying washing. My only gripe was the lack of transparency about linen hire, cleaning charges and the need for a 500 euro deposit, neither of which were mentioned in the listing, meaning I didn't bring a cheque book and had to sort it all out...

"We really enjoyed our stay in Bogeve. The property was very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely log burner and modern kitchen appliances. Les Brasses ski resort was about a 5 minute drive and proved to be a really nice ski resort. We also ventured to the larger resort of Samoens (part of Le Grand Massif ski area) which was about 40 to 50mins drive. "A lovely chalet with an extra large balcony that has amazing, expansive views of the lake. Perfect place to watch the fireworks from across the lake for the Swiss National Day! We ate most of our meals outside on the balcony. The grandkids loved exploring the outdoor grounds. The house was nicely equipped and the owners were easy to contact and helpful when needed. The loft bedrooms might be difficult for some people to climb the ladder up to. A beautiful house with a beautiful view."
