"From the moment we drove up, we knew we picked a great retreat offering the solitude we were seeking. The home was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and accommodating for 5 adults. The kitchen was the center of attention since we spent majority of time cooking and having lots of laughs over our culinary skills. It was well equipped with very nice cook and dinnerware. If we were not in the home, we were hanging out around the fire pit. The location was perfectly situated near town and Beavers Bend State Park where we hiked some great trails. We always had a prompt response from the homeowner if we needed suggestions about the area or questions. Overall, this was a wonderful setting, beautiful home, perfect location and offered all the amenities we hoped to have for our trip. Definitely would book again. "

"We stayed at Cub’s Corner with our family of 5 (kids ages 8, 6, and 4) and my parents (the grandparents). It was the perfect set up for our group. The kids loved the beds in the loft and the playset. It had plenty of towels and blankets. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The neighbors were a bit loud on Saturday but we still enjoyed our time. Although there are several houses in the area, the back yard and side yard feel secluded. We even saw deer come by in the morning. "

"My spouse and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was very relaxing! Even though there were cabins on either side of us it still felt secluded. The only issue for us was the bed. It was memory foam which I’m not a fan of and the mattress protector was all plastic so the sleeping wasn’t that comfy for me. Some may not have a problem with it. Other than that the hot tub was very relaxing and we enjoyed watching movies on the porch while soaking. It was close to everything as well so you didn’t have to drive far. The casino was just a couple exits off the main road too! We had a really enjoyable time! I highly recommend! It’s not the most luxurious cabin which I usually like and my husband always calls me bougie lol but this was very nice and clean and cozy! "
