"Amazing set up, brilliant pools. The pools are heated to about 32 degrees so it was perfect. Great location. The food was the really good. The only downsides were the service at the restaurant was a little slow we waited about 15 mins to be served at one point and there was a few bits of debris in the pool at our room. The hotel provides snorkels and bikes which was good too. "

"Somewhere special indeed. From the moment we were greeted by the wonderful staff to the moment we cried as we said goodbye. Everything was perfect. If you are after a sterile 5 star experience then Avilla is not for you. "A beautiful villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's in the middle of the island, so it is very quiet at night. We enjoyed the little walks to the more lively areas along the beaches. There were not many mosquitoes either, and we had a very comfortable stay. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cantika. The staff become your friends instantly. Breakfast served in your room by the pool. Bikes for hire at the front door. Island flat and accessible. Mini bar in room with very reasonable prices. Many wonderful places to dine in wandering distance. Bed was absolute bliss. The villa is sizable. Just be aware that the room is on two levels and the bathroom is downstairs, which may pose an issue for some. Can't wait to go back :)"

"Santan Gili completely exceeded our expectations! My partner and I stayed at Santan for 6 nights on gili trawangan and absolutely loved it! On arrival, we were greeted with delicious welcome drinks and the friendliest staff. "Overall excellent experience. The villa is as advertised - pictured are accurate. Communication is through WhatsApp, including when they would come to clean your room, so I would say having this app is a must. We paid for the floating breakfast one morning and it was awesome. Very clean villa, and friendly staff. When outside, you can hear guests from other hotels/villas but I don’t think you’ll get away from this anywhere on the island as all accommodations are quite close together. "

"Had the most amazing stay at Villa Sama Lama!! There are only x4 villas in the lot, and it's away from the main "entrance" of the island at the port so you feel so peaceful and secluded. The villa came with a it's own private pool, outdoor kitchenette, "living room" and sun loungers then a king sized bedroom, huge bathroom inside. It's walkable from the port, only about 20 mins and you will be greeted with a welcome drink and fresh watermelon by the lovely staff. Local beach and cafes etc are...

"Stayed a Pera One for 2 nights, perfect spot as its only 5 minutes by bike to the sunset side and just under 10 minutes to the party side! Staff were wonderful and spoke great english, very helpful and bicycles included! Staff also helped us to organsie snorkelling and suggested places to go out :) "

An oasis.

"Kardia was the most luxury hotel experience on what was a very party island. If you are looking for an oasis amongst the noise then this certainly is the best option! The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean. They come round every evening to open the mozzy net and spray to repel mozzys. It’s honestly little touches like this that make a hotel amazing. I’d highly recommend a visit here. "

Excellent hotel

"This was such an immaculate, beautiful hotel to stay for our visit to Gili T. The staff were excellent. The rooms, pool, location to the beach was perfect. Far away from the noise of the centre. Easy to rent a bike for around 50idr for 12 hours or you can have a 24hr rental. Long walk from the harbour but the paths through the middle of the island are great and easy to navigate. The breakfast was good. The rooms were of an excellent size and had beautiful balconies to sit and relax. Rooms and hotel were even better than we thought they would be. I would definitely come back to Gili T just to stay here. "

"Amazing place to relax on Gili T that’s still close to the centre of town. The bunglow rooms are lovely. Free bike hire. Breakfast is great. Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. Daily yoga is also a bonus with a great instructor. Would highly recommend a stay here if you have the opportunity. "
