"Not what it used to be !! We stayed at this place after having such a lovely experience previously. However, this stay was very disappointing. We opted for upsell to the 5 BR villa on check-in which looked lovely in the pictures, but were stuck with a villa that stunk of sewerage the whole time! "We spent almost a month here while doing some volunteer work in the area. Villa Batu Sisi became our comfort space with a very homely feel. Adung and Marley (onsite staff) were the highlights for us. Wonderfully friendly and no request was a problem for them. They took care of the house, our washing and cleaning and helped our boys husk coconuts and harvest mangoes. The Villa was fine but does need some attention and would benefit from renovation as it’s quite dated. The A/C is not very cold...

"The experience from start to finish was amazing and totally faultless. From the team at the villa to the grounds and villa itself everything was so beautiful and very well though out!! The food cooked fresh everyday for us was delicious and healthy and presented and served so elegantly. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone interested in staying in Gili Gede. Absolutely superb. "

"The property was fine. Not too many things around but it was easy enough to catch a cab (cheap) and go into town. I tried to communicate with the owner and the caretaker about airline changing our flight and arriving two hours earlier than the first plan. I texted and call both parties but couldn't get through. We had to wait for two hours to be picked up at the airport. When we checked out, the caretaker didn't show up on time. We waited for the longest we could but had to leave. The facility...

"I truly felt like I was part of the family welcome by everybody spoken to by everybody everyone had great big smiles were very welcoming and accommodating nothing was ever too much trouble I think I must have laughed every day with everybody I had cookery lesson and the chefs who are talented should be step-by-step each process for every particular dish. It was so good at this place that when I returned to the island after a brief stay back in Jakarta, I went back and stayed longer. The sun sets from the restaurant and beach were incredible."

"Hotel was an excellent standard for this type of resort hotel and in low season very good value, The buffet breakfasts, included in room rate, had many options and were equally good value, the staff were friendly at all times, and unlike previous hotels I'd tried the rooms had comfortable, cushioned furniture and a desk. Minor negatives were the smell of drains in the bathroom, and the beach alongside the hotel which was narrow and shelved steeply into the Bali/Lombok strait."

"This is my first time in Lombok & I really enjoy the stay with my family. The staffs are so kind & nice, specially the head chef, restaurant manager Imran & Ulan from the restaurant. "Fabulous service from Manager/ Chef Mr Hambi & Sales Manager Ms Karen who rendered kind consideration & genuine helpfulness regarding my Expedia's stay cancellation due to Indonesia immigration limit of 30 days👍👍👍👍👍✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Chef instructed staff to prepare my favourite masala tea. Whereas Karen sought management's approval for accommodation refund & extended complimentary spa treatment. SOOOO... IMPRESSIVE!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Additionally, ALL service staff are so friendly & engaging 👏👏👏👏👏 Furthermore the ocean suite is very spacious & balcony overlooking the expansive shoreline & enchanting waves. Great resort, coupled with exemplary staff, makes a memorable holiday. Cheers! 🍻"
